Gerald Wayne Hale

Gerald Wayne Hale, 75, died Monday, April 27, 2020, at his residence in the Macedonia Community in Union County. Mr. Hale was born March 24, 1945, in Union County, the son of George Washington Hale and Lucille Bishop Hale. Gerald was of the Pentecostal faith and had been a logger as his occupation. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed playing dominoes. He is survived by one son, Charles Hale and wife, Jennifer, of Myrtle; two grandchildren, C. J. Hale and Kyla Hale; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Patricia Mc Donald, Clara Smith, and Barbara Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Marvin, Richard, Jimmy, Frank, and Calvin Hale; and one sister, Emma Mason. A private graveside service will be held at 2:00 P. M., on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at Enterprise Cemetery, with Brother Steve Wilson and Brother John Vasquez officiating.
