Patricia "Pat" Joan Lawrence

Patricia Joan Lawrence, 78, was born March 28, 1944, in Union County, Mississippi, the daughter of Perry and Ruth Myrick Canerdy. She passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loved ones and friends. Pat was a homemaker and had formerly worked for the New Albany Gazette. She is survived by her daughter, Montey Jolly of New Albany; her son, Paul Rakestraw of New Albany; one granddaughter, Ashley Bolen; and two great grandchildren, Sam Bolen and Azlynn Bolen. A private family service was held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 11:00 A. M. at Dunlap/Mt Gilead Cemetery.
