Myra Bethea Lazenby

Myra Bethea Lazenby, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, in Montgomery, Alabama, at the age of 81. Born on September 14, 1943, in Alabama, Myra dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren, instilling in them the values of love, kindness, and perseverance.

She is survived by her two cherished daughters, Tina Waldrop and Tracy Lazenby, her brother Charles Bethea, and sister Sue Bethea, and a legacy of love through her seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Myra had a profound impact on all their lives, nurturing and supporting them throughout their journeys.

Myra had a special connection with nature, and her love for watching hummingbirds brought her immense joy and tranquility. This simple pleasure reflected her gentle spirit and the beauty she found in the world around her.
