Herbert Michael Kitchens

Herbert Michael "Mike" Kitchens, 63, was born June 27, 1953, in Union County, Mississippi, the son of Herbert Eulon and Mary Cook Kitchens.  He departed his life on earth on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.  Mike was a member of Ingomar Baptist Church, was a graduate of Ingomar High School, and had been a truck driver, worked on furniture, and a carpenter.  He is survived by his mother, Mary Kitchens of Blue Springs.  His father preceded him in death.His funeral service will begin at 2 P. M., Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Glenfield Funeral Home with Brother Larry Harrison officiating.  Burial will follow in Glenfield Memorial Park.  Active pallbearers are Dennis Stuart, Bill Smith, Sam McKenzie, Wayne Littlejohn, Terry Gaines, Steve Cook, and Gerald Bogue.  Honorary pallbearers are Keith Murry, Kenneth Murry, and B. J. Crompton.  Visitation will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017, from 5 P. M. until 9 P. M. at Glenfield Funeral Home.
