Darelina Williams Little Hutson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2024, at the age of 88 surrounded by her loving family due to an extended illness. Born on November 16, 1935, in Union County, Mississippi, Darelina spent her life dedicated to her family and her passions.
Throughout her life, Darelina found joy in spending time with her children, caring for her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nurturing her beautiful flower gardens. Her culinary skills as a talented cook at a hospital brought delicious meals and comfort to many.
Darelina was preceded in death by her parents Georgia Grisham Williams and Troy Wesley Williams. Her husband Elmer Hutson, father of her children Jim Little, sisters Evoyl Fooshee, Aldora Vinson, Geneva Self, Laverne Rogers, Evelyn Williams, Betty Jean Anderson, her brothers Cpl Raymond Williams, James Williams, Her grandchildren Richard Williams, James Randall Little Jr, Brayden Holloway, Nicholas King, Bubba Martin, Abby Schultz, Austin Reed, Roy Allen Weeks and Eric Clayton. Her stepdaughter Vicky Clayton and her step-son Richard Hutson.
Darelina's legacy of love and kindness lives on through her children: Diane McCain of Ecru, MS, Mary Stevens (Tim) of Belden, MS, Lesia Dubord (Don) of Clarkston, Michigan, Terry Little (Sherry) of Ecru, MS, James Little (Judy) of New Albany, and Alex Hutson(Ecru) her grandchildren Robert Hutson, Kenneth McCain, Miranda Bomar, Heather Little, Jesse LeMar, Nicole Jarvis, "TJ" Terry Little Jr, Christy Risuri, Candy Spadefard, her brother Troy (Junior) Williams (Janie); and her sister Louise Trolley, a special daughter in law; Tracie Hall, and 4 stepchildren. She has left behind a vast family and friends.
Funeral services for Darelina Hutson will be held at Glenfield Funeral Home with a visitation on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, November 8th, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Glenfield Funeral Home Chapel, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life, share cherished memories, and offer their final farewells. Her spirit of warmth, generosity, and culinary mastery will be dearly missed by those fortunate enough to know her.
Dusty Jarvis, Jake Tarter, Landon Little, TJ Little, Trey Little, and Cooper Huston will be pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody Weeks, Robert Weeks, Caden Smith, Josh Stevens, and TJ Stevens.
