Annie Elizabeth Thomas, 95, was born in Union County, Mississippi, on April 12, 1922, the daughter of Edward Adair and Annie Belle Goodwin Adair. She went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 29, 2017, at Union County Health and Rehab. Mrs. Thomas, the widow of Daniel Lester Thomas, was a member of Grace Assembly of God where she taught an adult Sunday School Class for many years. She helped operate the family business, Thomas T. V. in New Albany, where she worked as the office manager. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 2 P. M. at Glenfield Funeral Home, with Reverend Jim Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery, Adair Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 P. M. until 2 P. M., Saturday at the funeral home. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include, one son, Lester O'Neil Thomas and wife, Cheryl, of New Albany; two daughters, Cheryl Wells and husband, Larry, of Noxapater, and Doris Hogue and husband, Benny, of New Albany; one brother, Roy Adair of New Albany; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty seven years, Daniel Lester Thomas; one son, James Daniel "Bud" Thomas; one daughter, Linda Joann Diaz; and two sisters, Lois Gresham and Bessie Camp.
