Deborah Kay Robison-McLeod, 61, was born in New Albany, Mississippi, on April 18, 1955, the daughter of Milton and Claylene Benefield. She died Monday, January 23, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Deborah was a member of Ingomar Baptist Church, and a member of the American Nurses Association. She was a registered nurse and had worked at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany, North Ms Medical Center-Home Health, and Union County Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be Friday, January 27, 2017, at 2 P. M. at Glenfield Funeral Home, with Dr. Terry Cutrer, Brother Jake Hudson, and Brother Clyde Pound officiating. Burial will follow in Warren Cemetery near Hurricane. Pallbearers are Alan McLeod, Derek Oglesby, Brent Spears, Lanny Benjamin, Mike Hall, , Donald Mac Coker, Mike Spears. Patrick Coker, Shane Coffey, and Todd Coffey. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5 P. M. until 8 P. M. at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Julian W. McLeod of New Albany; son, Chuck Robison of New Albany; brother-in-law, Alan McLeod (Ginger) of Oxford; sisters-in-law, Kay Weaver (Jim) of Lake Wells, Florida, Mary Coker (Donald Mack) of Ecru, Linda Spears (Mike) of Hurricane, Annette Benjamin (Larry) of Hurricane, and Brenda Hall (Mike) of New Albany. three step children, Jennifer Roxanne McLeod, Shara Michelle McLeod, and Rachael Rebecca McTaggart (Barry), ; one step grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her first husband, James "Sonny" Robison.
