Rachael Tyer

Rachael Tyer, 89, was born in Tippah County, Mississippi, on January 22, 1927, the daughter of William and Cora Russell Green. She died Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi.  Mrs. Tyer was a Baptist and a homemaker.Funeral services will be held, Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Glenfield Funeral Home in New Albany, Mississippi, with burial following in Glenfield Memorial Park.  Visitation will be on Saturday from noon until 2 P. M.  Reverend Perry Reed will officiate.  Tom Bloodworth, Dewayne Reed, and Jerry Reed will serve as pallbearers.  She is survived by two sons, James Sharp of Port Charlotte, Florida, and David Tyer of Horn Lake, Mississippi; three sisters Christine Bobo, Lola Mae McNeely, and Martha; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
