Dorothy Irene Wilson, 72, was born December 6, 1944, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of the late John and Marie Cook. She died Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Magnolia Manor in New Albany. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a Baptist. She and her husband Leland moved to New Albany from New Orleans in 2005. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017, at 2 P. M. at Glenfield Funeral Home with burial following in Glenfield Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday from 12 P. M. until 2 P. M. Brother Robert Hogue will officiate. Survivors Include her husband, Leland Travis Wilson of New Albany; three brothers, Palmer Cook of Boulder, Colorado, Andrew Cook of Covington, Louisiana, and John Cook, Jr. of Anniston, Alabama; one sister, Cookie Shehan of Mandeville, Louisiana; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Leland Travis Wilson, Jr.
