Charles Ray Potts

 Charles Ray Potts, 52, was born in New Albany on May 8, 1964, the son of Roy and Duvelle Gaines Potts. He passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Mr. Potts was a dry wall installer before his retirement and a member of Poolville Baptist Church.    Visitation will be held from 1 P. M. until 3 P. M. Friday, with funeral services at 3 P. M., at Glenfield Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Martintown Cemetery. Brother Cooper Swords and Brother Jeff Taylor will officiate. Pallbearers are Charles "Shorty" Potts, Andrew Potts, Dusty Andrews, Jerry Kidd, Scott Massengill, Anthony McDonald, and Shane McMillen. Honorary pallbearers are Keith McMilen and Phil Potts.    Survivors include his wife, Connie Potts (special friend, Kenny Potts); son Zachary Potts (special friend, Amber Quillian); daughter, Suzanne Swords (Austin), all of New Albany; and brother, David Potts of Tennessee.     He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wesley Potts; and sister, Janice Williams.
