Beulah Mae Bishop

Beulah Bishop passed on Saturday, September 17, 2016, surrounded by many of her children and grandchildren, in her home at the age of 95. Beulah was born on May 16, 1921, in Blue Mountain, Mississippi, to the late Henry and Maggie Bishop. In 1937, she married the late Audy Bishop and they resided in Enterprise, Mississippi, where they raised fourteen children, Bessie Roberts, Eugene Bishop, Dellsie Williams, Steve (Ann) Bishop, John (Wanda) Bishop, Leon (Kay) Bishop, Juanita Hamilton, Frank Bishop, Walter (Debra) Bishop, Lucinda Hefner, Kenneth (Laura) Bishop, James Bishop, Cathy (Wayne) Messer, and Mary Ann (Neil) Sanderson. Beulah was loved by her forty three grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and a dedicated homemaker who loved gospel music, going out to eat, and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Audy Bishop; one son, Frank Oliver Bishop; and five grandchildren.
