Harold Loyd Rutledge, Sr., 62, was born April 16, 1954, in New Albany, the son of Loyd and Arnese Stepp Rutledge. He died on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany. Harold was a retired truck driver, a member of Poolville Baptist Church, and a Mason in Rocky Ford Lodge. He loved to hunt and fish.
Services will be on Wednesday at 11 A. M., at Poolville Baptist Church, with Brother Larry Harrison and Brother Sandy Dye officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 P. M. until 9 P. M. at Poolville Baptist Church. Active pallbearers will be Matt Yielding, Michael Parham, Chris Blaylock, Wade Donahue, Cody Donahue, Frankie Donahue, Colt Dye, and Rusty Connell. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Grubbs, Brady Gordon, Alex Mirfield, and Kizer Churchill.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Rutledge; two sons Harold L. Rutledge, Jr. (Jamie) and Joseph Corey Rutledge, all of Pinedale; two daughters, Tonya Renee Churchill (Rodney) of Pinedale and Wendy Dawn Mirfield (Cory) of New Albany; brothers, Ricky and Ronnie Rutledge of Pinedale; sister, Mary C. Parham (Charles) of Mantachie; sixteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Neal Rutledge.
